One of the tabs available through Task Manager is Processes. When you select this tab, Task Manager will list all the processes that are currently running on the computer. Additional information will also be listed beside each process, such as the user name under which each process is running. The information displayed will depend on the columns that are visible.
You can customize Task Manager to display specific columns of information to meet your specific requirements. You can do this by opening Task Manager and selecting the Processes tab. From the View menu, click Select Columns. From the dialog box that appears, place a check beside the columns that you want displayed. Click OK.

Hello Mz. Huggins. I’ve been playing with a computer in one way or another since just before Windows 95 was released, (and still have no idea what I’m ding half the time). For the Task Manager I prefer right click the task bar and TM or right hand, Shift/Ctrl/Esc. But reading your article here about colums made me think that what some people, (me included), need is to know what all those headings in TM mean.
BTW, I also run a little TM add on “ProcessLibrary.Com Quick Access InfoBar 1.2.1″ which shows what each known/unknown running process is. For a quick “kill everything that isn’t necesary” I run EndItAll 2. Thanks for listening, Logan
