Disposable Income Calculator

My oldest daughter is 20 years old and experiencing life on her own for the first time. She is learning how to manage her money, how to make payments (sometimes on time, sometimes not), and that ATMs at banks won’t give you any money if your account balance is zero, no matter how much you plead with them. Needless to say, it has been a learning experience for her to survive when there is too much month left at the end of her money. I showed her today’s Family First site, and while she wouldn’t admit it interested her, she did put it in her bookmarks.
The site is called the Disposable Income Calculator. Here you can see, in dollars and cents, just how much you have after you pay your living expenses, such as electricity, heat, insurance, credit cards, and all the necessary evils of everyday life. It can be somewhat sobering. But there is an interesting twist to the site…
