Spam King Bows to FTC Spyware Demand
The so-called “Spam King” has agreed to stop loading spyware on the computers of unsuspecting users while an FTC lawsuit against him is pending. Sanford Wallace is accused of distributing spyware and then selling users anti-spyware software to remove it.
Sanford Wallace, known as the “Spam King,” has agreed to a Federal Trade Commission Latest News about Federal Trade Commission demand to stop loading spyware onto the computers of unsuspecting users until a lawsuit against him is resolved.
The FTC says its case against Wallace, still in litigation, involves new legal and technology issues.
