Unpack Your PowerPoint Presentation

In a previous article you learned how to use the handy Pack and Go feature of PowerPoint. You can use this feature to compress your presentations and/or take them to a computer that does not have PowerPoint installed. So now we’re going to take a look at what you do with your packed presentation when you’re ready to open it. The process is very simple and the steps are outlines below.

  1. Insert the media on which you stored the presentation.

  2. Open Windows Explorer. Locate and double click the pngsetup.exe. You will find this on the media where you saved the presentation.
  3. Select a destination for the unpacked presentation. Click OK.
  4. Click OK at the warning message.
  5. Click Yes to show the presentation immediately. Click No to view the presentation later.
  6. Close Windows Explorer
