Without a decent trash disposal system, it’s safe to say that more of us would be living in our own filth. Sometimes we take the sanitation systems for granted, but that’s definitely a mistake. Think about the gross amount of waste that the world produces each minute of every day. It’s just about enough to gag a maggot. I for one am glad that chicken remains aren’t filling up the streets of the city; well, unless you live in New York City. In Trash Killer 2, you control a garbageship that is responsible for destroying all of the asteroid refuse that is floating around. Sounds like a creative way of describing Asteroids, huh?
The game definitely isn’t bad for a freebie. One of the nice things about it is that it forces you to be more precise with your firing. Once you destroy a large asteroid, it will break up into many small pieces that are a challenge to destroy properly. If you hit them with your ship, you’ll incur damage and eventually die, so it’s vital that you avoid them and shoot when the time is right. Several power-ups will appear from time to time, and they’ll help you with various aspects of your ship. It’s time to take out the trash, man.
