Lose the Outlook Express Home Page

  • No Related Post

When you open Outlook Express, by default, it opens with a home page (similar to the way Internet Explorer always opens to the same page). A lot of you Outlook Express users probably just click your inbox right away and could not be bothered with the links on this home page. I use Outlook Express on occasion and find this to be just another tiny nuisance. So I configured Outlook Express so that it opens my inbox right away, thereby saving me that one click.

To stop the home page from appearing, open Outlook Express. From the Tools menu, click Options. The Options dialog box will appear. From the General tab, place a check beside the option ‘When starting, go directly to my inbox folder.’ Now when you start Outlook Express, the home page will no longer appear.
