Schedule Reccurring Reminders in Outlook 2002

Outlook is a very useful program to have running. It can essentially act as your personal assistant. You can even configure Outlook to provide you with recurring reminders. For example, Outlook can send you a notification every Friday afternoon to submit your hours and project status before calling it a week.

To set up recurring tasks:

  1. Open Outlook.
  2. Open your Outlook Calendar.
  3. Click the Actions menu and click New Recurring Appointment.
  4. Under the Appointment time section shown in the figure, select a Start time.
  5. Configure the End time to be the same as the start time.
  6. Set the duration to 0 minutes.
  7. Under the Recurrence pattern section, select the desired options.
  8. Click OK.
  9. Type in a name for the reminder.
  10. Click Save and Close.
