There are several different ways in which you can tweak your computer to improve system performance. One of the ways is to make a minor configuration change through System Properties dialog box.

Click Start and select Control Panel. Open the System applet. An alternate method is to right click My Computer on your desktop and select Properties. The System Properties dialog box will appear.

Select the Advanced tab. Under the Performance section, click the Settings button, and the Performance Options dialog box will appear. Remove the check beside the following options:

  • Fade or slide menus into view
  • Fade or slide ToolTips into view
  • Fade out menu items after clicking
  • Show Shadows after menus
  • Slide open combo boxes
  • Slide taskbar buttons
  • Use a background image for each folder type
  • Use common tasks in folders

I would be an idiot to ever pay full retail prîces at places like Walmart or Bestbuy. I sold a 37″ HTV to my boss for $600 that I only paid $78.24 for. I use http://jmb.tw/52bf
