There are a number of different ways in which you can spice up your e-mails in Outlook Express. You can add some stationary, add your signature, or insert a picture. You may not know this, but you can also insert sound into your messages. Granted, of course, you probably don’t want to be doing this with your boss, clients, or co-workers, but for family and friends, it can be kind of fun. When the recipient of your message opens the e-mail, the sound will be playing in the background.
You can use the steps listed below to add sound to an e-mail in Outlook Express:
- Open Outlook Express.
- Open a new e-mail message.
- Click the Format menu and click Rich Text (HTML).
- Click the Format menu, point to Background, and click Sound.
- Browse to the location of the file you want played.
- Click OK.
