Readers are always asking for a list of keyboard shortcuts. As you probably know, there are an abundance of them. Now you probably won’t use them all, but more than likely just pick and choose the ones you like best. In any case, once you get the keystrokes down pat, they are definitely quicker than having to use a mouse. So here is a list of Windows key shortcuts that I use most often. I’m sure there are more, but these have become my daily favorites.
Windows + L - Use this to quickly lock your workstation.
Windows + Break - Opens the System Properties dialog box.

Windows + D - Restores minimized windows.
Windows - Launches the Start Menu.

Windows + F - Opens the Search Results window so you can search for folders and files.
Windows + CTRL + F - Open the Search Results - Computer window so you can search for computers.
Windows + F1 - Opens the Help and Support Center.
