Microsoft Office Keyboard Shortcuts

Readers are always informing me of their favorite keyboard shortcuts that they use most often. This information is always welcome in my inbox since a shortcut is a shortcut (faster way of doing things). Since I spend a lot of time working in Microsoft Word 2002, I find all these shortcuts very useful. So I thought I’d compile my most recent list from readers and share them with everyone, since I’m sure many of you do a fair amount of typing.
CTRL + N - Creates a new document.
CTRL + O - Brings up the Open dialog box so you can open an existing document.
CTRL + S - Saves your document.
CTRL + W - Closes your document.
CTRL + F - Brings up the Find and Replace dialog box.
CTRL + Z - Use this to undo an action.
ALT + CTRL + P - Switches to print layout view.
ALT + CTRL + O - Switches to outline view.
ALT + CTRL + N - Switches to normal view
CTRL + SHIFT + C - Copies formatting of selected text.
CTRL + SHIFT + V - Applies the copied formatting to the selected text.
CTRL + SHIFT + F - Changes the font.
CTRL + SHIFT + P - Changes the size of the font.
