Minimize Apps to the System Tray using 4t Tray Minimizer

I recently wrote an article about how you can minimize Outlook to the system tray instead of on the task bar. Shortly after, a Lockergnome reader pointed me to a great little application that you can use to minimize any application running to the system tray. The application is called 4t Tray Minimizer.

You can download the application from here. The installation process is simple, quick and you can install it on any of the following versions of Windows: 95/98/ME or NT/2000/XP.

Once you install the application, you will see two additional buttons in the top corner of your applications. One of the buttons can be used to minimize the application to the system tray. The other button can be used to hide the application completely. You can easily unhide the application using the 4t Tray Minimizer icon in the system tray. I would highly recommend using 4t Tray Minimizer to manage your applications and keep your task bar clean.
