Out Of Ink? Keep From Going In The Red.

Q: It seems like my inkjet printer is constantly running out of ink. Whenever I go to the store to purchase a replacement, I’m instantly stricken with sticker shock. The prices are so high! Are there any sites online that offer cartridges and refill kits at a lower price?

A: The ink cartridges are where the printer manufacturers get you. As you’ve probably already noticed, some replacement cartridges cost more than a new printer that already comes with fresh cartridges! It’s almost comical when you think about it, but it’s not any fun if you have to keep dishing out that hard-earned money for a minuscule amount of ink.

You will find several Web sites that specialize in selling low cost ink cartridges and refill kits. By purchasing replacements on the Internet, you’ll likely save a respectable amount of cash. Here are a few links to companies that you should look into:

Ask4Ink
Ink Cartridges World
Discount Ink Cart
InkSell

You should know that most of the cartridges you’ll find on sites like these are either remanufactured or compatible replacements. Going this route can save a lot of money, and the cartridges will still work great.

Now you won’t be as distraught when you literally watch the ink drain away from the cartridge.

i think printers should be free….if HP can set a time limit for use of cartridges, and cause your printer to shut down; they have complete control….might as well have a rental printer, and trade it in every year..
i had an all in one HP that i used refill ink from Wal Mart….my printer finally shut down and came up with some weird messages…finally had to discard the whole printer, as scanner wouldn’t work either….i have a canon laser printer for B & W and it has worked great for 5 years with only one cartridge replacement….who really needs color??? go to costco and get prints for 15 cents
