E-Mail:

Add Your Signature to Your E-mails

As per proper etiquette, when you send someone a letter, note, and so on, you are supposed to sign your name at the bottom. If not, you will be shunned from the ‘letter-writing community.’

Well, you can do the same thing in Outlook Express - have your e-mails sent with your signature. And for those of you who never think to add a signature, Outlook Express will even do it for you automatically. Here is what you have to do:

  1. Within Outlook Express, click Tools, then Options.
  2. Click the Signatures tab.
  3. Click New.
  4. Under Signature settings, place a check beside the option to Add signatures to all outgoing message.
  5. Under the Edit Signature section, type in how you want your signature to appear.
  6. If you have more than one signature created, highlight the signature you want automatically inserted into your e-mails and click the Set as Default button.
  7. Click OK.

Now when you send an e-mail through Outlook Express, your signature will automatically be appended to the end of the message.
