Listing Your Favorites in Alphabetical Order

The ‘Favorites’ feature of Internet Explorer is a great way of keeping track of the Web sites you regularly visit. Once you have a list of favorites you can organize them alphabetically. To do this, simply click the Favorites menu within IE, right click any URL listed, and click the Sort by name option. The URLs will then be listed alphabetically.
You can take this one step further and tweak your alphabetical list of favorites. If you have “favorite” favorites, you may want to have them listed on top instead of having them stuck at the bottom of your favorites list. This is simple to do if you have your URLs sorted by name. To have your favorite URLs listed at the top, click the Organize favorites option from the Favorites menu. Select your favorite URL from the list and click the Rename button. Place an “A” at the beginning of the name for the URL. Click Close. Your favorite URL will now appear at the top of your Favorites list, making it a little more accessible.

This seems slightly incorrect in that URLs can be named to indicate function or association, but organizing them alphabetically is as simple as pulling down the Favorites menu, right clicking in the group and choosing Sort by Name. This would seem like the more careful approach.
