If you’re in the tech trenches each and every day, you may begin to take this stuff too seriously. When you catch yourself freaking out about some trivial computer matter, it’s time to take a deep breath, grab a Red Bull, and laugh about how crazy this industry can be. In the past, when you thought of a geeky comic strip, you thought of Dilbert. Pointy hair is great and all, but a comic strip called User Friendly takes the whole geek comedy thing to an entirely new plateau.
This comic has developed a cultlike following. It tackles the latest technology stories and subjects, and tries to put a comedic spin on them. The amazing thing is that it actually succeeds at doing this. You have to be a geek to truly appreciate what’s being talked about in the strip. You’ll be surprised when you realize that they can repeatedly make tech topics (such as Linux) funny. Don’t be embarrassed by your geeekiness; visit User Friendly and shout it from the rooftops with the rest of the world. If you can’t laugh about it, others will.
