Rumor has it that using all caps in an e-mail or in an instant message is similar to shouting when in person. Some people like putting certain words in all caps to emphasize their point. I only use caps to be grammatically correct. I like knowing those words that are supposed to be capitalized are, and that is all.
In Word, there are a few different cases that you can use, such as tOGGLe case. The cases in Word include:
- Sentence case
- Lower case
- Upper case
- Title case
- Toggle case
If you are using Word, you can easily change the case of a word by highlighting it, clicking the Format menu and selecting Change Case. Select the case you want to use and click OK. However an even faster way of doing this is to highlight the word, and press Shift + F3 until you get the right case.
