One thing that was fun to do on a hot summer day was to curl up in a hammock under a shady tree. Today, thanks to wireless technology and the Internet, I can enjoy books from the comfort of that hammock, using my laptop or PDA.
Today’s Family First site is one called the Bartleby Library: Great Books Online. Here you’ll check out some great classic literature and read it online or print it out for later consumption. There are a wide variety of books here, such as Agatha Christie’s first novel, “The Mysterious Affair at Styles,” to Emily Post’s “Etiquette,” and several books by President Theodore Roosevelt. An interesting stop is the collection of inaugural addresses of every U.S. president from Washington to Clinton. They make interesting reading. [Family First]
