How many of you still use the command-line regularly? The truth is that it scares most users away. That blinking command prompt of doom can be daunting to someone who is clueless about how to use it. Some people were born and raised on the command-line and have a symbiotic relationship with it, while others think it’s going to kick them in the shin and laugh. For those of you that would like to brush up on your command-line knowledge, check out the A-Z reference on the Windows XP Professional Product Documentation page.

The commands are listed alphabetically, making them easy to navigate. Once you click on a command that you would like to learn more about, a nice amount of information is provided. You’ll find a description, syntax, parameters, remarks, examples, and more. It’s time to dust off the command-line and experiment with it again. By the way, it says you never return its calls. Shame on you! [Brandon Watts]
