Not in a romantic way, though I had a boyfriend in high school who looks kind of like him. Sexiest boyfriend I ever had, even though I’ve dated far prettier… dip Kevin Smith in chocolate and they could be… distant cousins. By marriage. How did I get on this tangent?

Oh yes. I love Kevin Smith in the “That Magnificent Bastard is Living My Life” way.

I’ve wanted to write my entire life. And I do, but not the way I intended. Right now I’m writing for pleasure and a living, but back then I wanted to write and put all my friends in my movies and still have largely the same boring life, but in a more pimped out setting, and a one-week vacation to some exotic locale once a month.

KS is making the money I wanted to make, doing what I wanted to do. So, as I consider my upcoming “early retirement”, I’m thinking about how I can turn my life in one more like his.

Or steal his life. I’m not particular.
