7 Ways to Fail Miserably Broke and Unhappy at Making Money Online

1. Start with a Negative Attitude!
   If you start out believing your broke neighbor’s theory on why you will fail, it’ll be that much easier. Why should you listen to people who have the results you want if you plan on suceeding?
2. Pin Your Hopes to the Get Rich Quick Route.
   Business plan? Serious time investment? Gaining knowledge? Building expertise in your subject matter? Doing some actual work?? That’s for smart people. You’ll never fail if you try hard enough.
3. Invest Start-Up Cash Poorly.
   You’ve got a hundred bucks to start a web business. Blow it all on a fancy design for a site you haven’t built yet. Buy Google Ads for a site without a product, interest list, or survey. Research? Education? Product development? What are you, an entrepreneur?
4. Don’t Tell Anyone About Your Site
   If you build it, they Will come. Just not to YOUR site.
5. Get People to Your Site, but Don’t Attempt Conversion.
   Pish posh. High volumes of traffic are enough to make any man rich, with or without advertisements. Follow up with visitors? Have an interactive site? Build in elements of the social web? An optional form for newsletter sign-up? You truly are not applying yourself to the “miserably” part in “fail miserably”
6. Start During the Slow Season.
   No one is online in the summer time, not the buyers, not in the US and Canada. There are kids to pick up or drinking to do. There are barbeques to attend and conferences to network at. And I know. This is the first summer I’ve HAD to work in four years. I worked twice as hard, as I was trying to recover from an illness, to make less than half of what I was used to, whereas the first week of fall I had my most successful week since I’ve been back, even though the plan was thrown together in a crunch.
   You want to fail at making money online? Start when it’s hardest to reach your target market. And don’t stay up late or get up early to catch the UK and Asian markets either. What do you think this is, the WORLD wide web?
7. Quit!
   How dare you persevere for at least a year doing a bit more at a time to increase your traffic, conversions and sales each day? One would think you were trying to get ahead in life. Don’t you know that the whole idea of being a miserably broke and unhappy failure is to take only the most half-assed, lamest, lack of action?
