Bing Keeps On Growing

There should be an image here!I have to admit, Bing has done quite well for itself lately despite all odds being stacked against it. But then again, Microsoft has advertised Bing on just about every product or service available.

Clearly though, the marketing blitz is beginning to work. Bing is reported to be seeing significant growth, likely at the expense of other search engines.

News on the street is that a Yahoo-Bing merger would seal the deal and making Bing nearly unstoppable in the growth department. Is it enough to hurt Google? Not yet, but with growth like Bing has been seeing, anything is possible.

Google is my search engine of choice. When I can’t find something using others, Google always delivers.

Google doesn’t have much to be concerned about since they probably have more money that China. Not only that, they probably know more about the world than J Edgar Hoover knew about all the communists in America.

I am not a fan of Microsoft. No matter how big or how many features Bing becomes I refuse to use it.

Anything that creates diversity in search engines is alright with me. As it stands, website owners are at the mercy of Google’s mysterious ranking formula changes.

I hated cheesecake, when I was younger, until I was finally convinced to try a piece. Now I love it! Just because it has “cheese” in its name doesn’t mean it tastes like cheddar.

Moral: Don’t knock it until you try it.

Microsoft is a vast company with many diverse teams. Just because you hate something put out by one of their teams (Windows, IE, Bob, etc…), doesn’t mean you’ll hate Bing.

Refusing to use something simply because it was created by “the evil empire” is childish.
