AdWords Goes Ban-Happy

There should be an image here!Seems like these days, there is just no pleasing the AdWords team. Then again, more often than not, the team has a reason to be concerned. Honestly, if you are peddling junk such as get rich quick or email harvesting schemes that promise free stuff, you are likely out of luck right now.

How will this affect certain aspects of the affiliate marketing industry? Poorly for some while others actually marketing things of value will be unaffected. Direct sales will also remain unaffected I suspect, so long as the landing page meets the general guidelines and everyone is working to provide a decent user experience.

Still at the end of the day, I think it will be the Google Arbitrage sites that will be hit the hardest. I say this as I found many of these sites along with others abusing things by doing stuff like including their phone number in the ad itself. Both may seem unrelated from one another, but at the end if the day takes the same kind of person.
