Fake Referrers With Bing Continues

So is Microsoft just lazy, clueless or simply not care? I mean, this fake referrer issue is hardly news – its been a problem for what this article describes as a couple of years now!

Not only is this annoying to web masters, it is just plain counterproductive. How is this a problem exactly? Imagine your website ranking for unrelated terms…such as adult terms.

I don’t think there is any question that the biggest offenders here are going to be select direct marketing schemes along with everyone’s favorite offender, porn. But as what to Microsoft is going to do to deal with the issue this time, clearly it appears that they are not in any big hurry.
