Yahoo Takes Their Users Sightseeing

Every once in awhile, I catch Yahoo doing something pretty cool. And their latest picture-sightseeing feature would have to be among one of the cooler features available. As described here in TechCrunch, Yahoo is providing virtual tourists with a simple means of “traveling” through pictures from the ease of using Yahoo Picture Search.
The picture search works well in its simplicity. Just type in a location, then answer some questions as to things in the area that might interest you. Generally speaking, it is stuff like this that Yahoo is doing right.
Despite my lack of interest in their search on the web functionality, this is definitely a very cool way to discover new pictures when someone goes to search images for a given location, Got to hand it to Yahoo for being creative here.
