Then there is Lucid Intelligence. Based out of the UK and staffed by ex-cops, I am finally seeing evidence of a company that is in a strong position to put its money where its mouth is. Not only can Lucid Intelligence help you discover if your identity has already been compromised, they are also in a position to help you prevent it from happening in the first place.

To me, this is vastly better than most of the other services I have come across in the States. I was also impressed in how you as a user are not having to pay a dime for services. Well, at least for advice on some good ideas of how you can keep an eye on your data from your own home that is.
