Who Is Buying Netflix?
Over the past few days, there has been a bit of speculation about the possibility of Netflix being bought out by the likes of Amazon or even Microsoft — depending on where you read about it.
If run right, Netflix has the potential to be an even bigger powerhouse than it is already. Assuming it is able to get its digital on-demand content to somewhere closer to its DVD collection, Netflix stands to become a valuable asset to any purchasing party.
This being said however, the single biggest thing working against it is the fact that it must deal with the movie industry. This means what it can do with the video content provided online is as limited as the small minds at the MPAA choose to make it. And if history is any teacher, I would not expect a lot of success here. But hopefully this will not work against seeing Netflix being bought out by some Fortune 500 company regardless.

I got a Netflix account only because I can stream movies via my Xbox. However, I do find that their streaming library is rather limited.
