I got a Spotify invite from a friend a few months ago and I love it. I really don't see much of a reason to buy or download music unless it's going straight to my Mp3 player. I suppose the biggest problem with Spotify is that it's limited to only some countries, so people from America or Asia for example can't use it. It seems to me that Spotify is a success, a lot of people I know here in Sweden use it and it's apparentely got over 1 million users. Now, the downside I guess is that there's really no community at all, and you can't buy the songs that you like from it.
