Better Business Bureau Warns Of Social Network Scams

There should be an image here!It never ceases to amaze me just how the Better Business Bureau is able to point out the obvious with such vigor. I mean, they are just now figuring out that there has been a serious problem with money making schemes on Twitter for sometime now.

Still, it is worth noting that in this case the scams appear to mostly surround Twitter. And again to be fair, Twitter scams do come across as pretty personal, often attracting the rather naive.

The above linked article provides examples of some scams to be wary of. But as obvious as it should be, there are always other scams out there to be careful of. So be careful, Twitter scammers are everywhere. Worse, they show no sign of letting up any time soon.

I think that Internet scams abound everywhere. No matter where you look you find one scam or another. We even have problems with it in the Ubuntu Help Forums.

That’s probably why the BBB has just looked into the ones on Twitter. They are so prevalent ‘net-wide that they are virtually everywhere you look.

No need to build it…they will come! :-)
