Wikipedia Is About To Kill The Radio Star

Sorry for the weak ’80s MTV reference, could not resist. Moving on, it seems that Wikipedia is making waves once again by implementing what will be editable online video with its written content. And if the truth is known, it could very well spell out a smashing success if done right.
The real key is to see how well users will be able to add legally available video that is not posing any one view over another and is also something worthwhile to view in the first place. It’s a tall order no matter how you look at it.
Until it is rolled out in force, I will be on the sidelines with great skepticism. Be it rare, Wikipedia has been used to sway public opinion either by companies who edited their own content, or simply by those groups who share a collective view, I think that adding video will be a double edged sword that will cut for good and for bad.
