Product Ads To Implement Google Winning Ad Recipe?

Trying to get my head around how this is really that compelling. Hey, it’s Google, thus it must be advertising gold! But honestly, the idea behind product ads just sounds like rehashed banner ads based on what I can tell.

Now this is not to say that the way Google plans on featuring their product ads will not be different and compelling enough for potential customers to sit up and take notice. This being said, I am not all that sure simply placing product information inside of advertising is going to help advertisers see any sort of improved ROI.

At this stage, it is too early to tell. Once we begin seeing these new ads rolling out into beta, I suspect myself among others will be in a better position to gage just where all of this is headed. One thing is for sure though, Bing will be hot on their tails if Google ends up with the next AdWords idea during the course of all of this.
