Twitter Goes Topsy With A Cool 15 Million

There should be an image here!If you are looking for a how-to, tips on saving time or money, along with a healthy dose of commentary, then perhaps using Topsy is just the ticket for you. It is also a great way to get an idea of which way option is swaying or being able to spot trends.

But the hard question of the moment is whether or not Tospy is really worth a cool 15 million in startup capital? Well the short answer is a qualified yes, assuming the new search engine can prove its worth with someone outside of the casual user.

Like with most things, the real money is with the enterprise user. This means providing a clear set of guidlines of how to get the service to a level where it is indespensible, then follow that up with a stable service that is able to keep trucking even when Twitter itself, is down.

    Where this could take the place of a physical church is for those who work on Sunday morning and other times services are being held. For instance…the church I currently attend only has services on Sunday morning. There’s no Sunday or Wednesday evening services…so it you can’t attend on Sunday mornings…you are out of luck.

    For people who are isolated, Cyberchurch must be a godsend!  For the rest of us, we do need real contact with other Christians, to see them, be with them, worship with them, encourage and be encouraged.  I think this is because the Church is a Body, with Christ Himself as the Head, and that sense of the Body cannot be really experienced in an edifying way in cyberspace.
