To Weave In A Solid Password Manager

Mozilla Labs has already wowed us once with Mozilla Weave. At its core, the idea is a simple one. Take your Firefox experience with you, regardless of the computer you happen to be using. Continue where you might have left off from previous sessions, sync bookmarks, etc.

In this recent Lifehacker post however, I have learned that Mozilla Weave is soon going to boast an identity component that will allow the Weave options to be extended much farther. How far?

Basically it would mean the integration of a solid password manager with the existing functions of Weave. Many critics have already sounded off in saying that this is a lame add-on, being there are dozens of usable password managers already on the market. And this is not even considering the existing extensions for Firefox that already provide this functionality as well. Despite this criticism, there is also a strong arm of users who are actually looking forward to this functionality being added to Weave as it is today.
