Flash Coming To A Living Room Near You

Thanks to my Ubuntu notebook and Hulu.com, Flash has been making an appearance in my living room for sometime. We are subscribers to DirecTV HD, however we still enjoy using Hulu via our monitor out on the notebook when our DVR happens to miss a program.

Experiences in my own home aside, most people are not likely hooking their PCs up to their TV sets. With this recent news however, it seems that Flash enabled video content may be on the fast track to TV sets throughout the US sooner than anyone might have anticipated.

The idea is that TVs may see this content being added thanks to better processing power, or with some sort of converter box. With partnerships with hardware and content providers, Flash technology will soon see its way into the living rooms of families before we know it.
