Style Up Your Navigation

If you ask around “Web” circles, most people will tell you that right after content, navigation is the most important aspect of Web design. I mean, it is great to have something to look at, but without navigation how are we supposed to see all the other goodies you have to offer? Using a little CSS and original ideas, you can turn your boring list of links into a work of art.
One Web site that will help you get that done is 13Styles.com. This link provides you with (you guessed it) 13 different navigational styles that you can use as your own. I would not recommend just taking them and running though. I would say look at their code and learn how they work. Take them apart and see what happens when you change this or add that.
Another good link to learn from would be the Top 71 CSS Menus Navigation Tabs. From here you get all kinds of different examples to learn from and use. If there is a navigation technique you want to try out and you can’t figure out how to do so, I can almost promise you it will be on this list.
Last but not least, there are the Listamatic tutorials that help you gain control over your ordered and unordered lists (and turn them into pretty navigation as well). Have any other good navigation style resources to share?
