The CSS Tinderbox

Browsing around the Web, I am always looking for new tools to help in the art of Web site design. Especially when it comes to building the basic foundations, this is not always an easy task to do. Many Web sites feature the basic designs that you can build upon, but often the code for these layouts are unorganized and uglier than your Great Aunt Merthal. That is where the CSS Tinderbox comes into play.
This Web site is an effort to help support the Web designers out there that believe in the Open Source world. It provides very basic and solid design templates that anybody can use as well. Feel like you would like to use one of these layout features as a part of your own new design?
Go ahead! They are all released under the Creative Commons license. Better yet, you’re not required to credit the CSS designer either. Well, good for those of you who might want to pretend you did it all yourself.
Having looked at some of the designs and code I have to say this is yet another great resource to bookmark and come back to when needed.

There are other, large open-source standards-based CSS site template sources:

http://www.oswd.org
http://www.opendesigns.org
.. to name a few, and all FREE !
