Easy Sitemap Creator

Maybe you just have your basic HTML filled Web site, and you have no easy way of creating a sitemap to index all of your Web site’s pages? If you fall into this camp, and have not yet found a tool that will help you create this sitemap file, I want you to take a look at the Sitemap Creator.

This easy to use tool is totally free, and is aimed more at the simple Web sites out there. If you have a basic, no frills, HTML coded Web site - this tool will be perfect for you. Here is a little more information from the developers:

Sitemap Creator enables you to create a HTML sitemap from any given (local) directory. You can customize the output and use templates to quickly generate different styles of sitemaps for directory printing or web navigation. It includes some handy features that allow you to create maps with the most important links on top, and also let you exclude folders or files from the index.

The only thing I don’t really like is you have to have a local version of the Web site saved to your computer before you can have it create the site map. As I said before though, this would be for your more simple Web sites and creations. Give it a shot, and let me know what you think.
