CSS Cheat Sheet

  • No Related Post

I have said it before and I will probably say it again, there is no way that anybody is ever going to be able to memorize every style sheet element there is out there. It is just impossible. If you want to brag that you know them all, then you need to go visit the outdoors for the first time in many years.

Now most people might be able to remember the important ones or just a few extra, but we need some help. We need a little hand holding. We need a cheat sheet. One of the best of the best that I have run across is the one delivered here by ILoveJackDaniels.com.

The CSS cheat sheet is designed to act as a reminder and reference sheet, listing all selectors (as of CSS 2.1) and properties. It includes a visual example of the box model, unit reference for CSS units and the various media types CSS makes allowance for. A description of what is on the cheat sheet follows, or if you are impatient, you can go straight to the full size CSS cheat sheet.

Now for those of you who do not know your “div” from your “span” - this might seem a little over your head. If you are in that camp, I would suggest checking out this resource of every CSS element out there today. They explain what each one does and how to use them.

Who knows, once you get good enough - you might even be ready to tackle these 10 CSS tips and tricks.
