Get Cool Rounded Corners

  • No Related Post

Come on, get with the times! Rounded corners these days are all the rage, how come you are not using them yet? I have always wanted to experiment with rounded corners on a Web site layout, but it always seemed too difficult for me. Thankfully though I have found a resource that makes getting rounded corners almost easy.

The Web site in question is RoundedCornr. You see, once you become cool enough - you are given the liberty to drop the last “e” in your name. For some reason I don’t think “Lockergnom” would look that great, so best for us to stick with our last “e” for now.

Back to RoundedCornr, they give you an easy “fill in the blanks” interface when it comes to creating rounded corners for layouts and buttons. Here is a little more about the project from the developers.

This site was decorated with images and code generated from the site itself; Photoshop was used only once, for creating the RoundedCornr logo at the top of the page.

You might’ve found some blogs, screenshots, comments, etc. on an earlier version of this site. The earlier version was a parody of Web 2.0 sites. We’d removed the parody in the current version because 1) the earlier site had been up for a while and the humor was starting to get old, and 2) some people just took the site too seriously and never got the satire.

If anything else, this is a fun tool to play with to at least see how it is done. For another alternative, you might also check out Nifty Cube. It does all the work for you via javascript.
