Criteo: Beta Testers Wanted

  • No Related Post

Starting this month, I’m now serving as a technical evangelist for a company that is based out of Paris called Criteo, which I’ve written about before. They’ve developed a recommendation engine that uses collaborative filtering technology, and they’re encouraging Web developers from all over the world to integrate the engine into their Web sites so that they can see the benefits that come from offering real-time personalized recommendations to their users. If you don’t think that targeted recommendations matter, then just ponder the fact that Amazon has reportedly said that 35% of their product sales result from their recommendations. Interested yet?

Some developers will look at something like this and just plunge into learning how to use it by referencing the Quick Start API Documentation, but others within the blogosphere may be curious about how they could effectively leverage the power of Criteo’s recommendation technology in what they do. The good news is that Criteo is opening up a beta test of their technology to bloggers who may be interested in participating, and if you’d like to be involved, then please follow the directions that are found in this post on the Criteo blog. Take this as a recommendation from me to you.
