Attach Icons Via Your CSS

The usefulness of a little good style sheet creation can go a long way. The most recent CSS tip that I have run across has to do with adding images to just about anything and everything using CSS. Now you have seen the icons that trail links (or that might show up before links) but how do you automate something like that?

Here is an example from the tutorial I found via Hunlock.com:

As you can see there is no rocket science to any of this. If I think this is something I might be able to do myself, I know all of you smart folks can.
