Getting To Know CSS

Now there is nothing really new about cascading style sheets - otherwise known as CSS. It has been widely used for some time now. If you find that CSS and yourself are not real good friends just yet, have no fear because I have a couple of hot spots on the Web where you can get to know each other better.
The first place you should check out is this roundup of twenty CSS Tips and Tricks. I have been keeping this handy as I work on redesigning a Web site I run for a friend of mine, and it has not let me down yet. There are a lot of good basics here that nobody new to CSS design should miss out on.
Another nice resource for getting to know CSS is the CSS Library from Dynamic Drive. When it comes to getting yourself a fancy looking menu, this is the place to get your inspiration from. It has a lot of nice content that can not be overlooked.
Another excellent way of getting a little more familiar with CSS is to look at a few simple Web site designs that you like that you do not run or own. View the source of the Web site, and the CSS file that goes with it and see if you can match up which neat feature goes with which code. Now I do not want anybody stealing other people’s hard work - but this is a good way to learn how it is done. Then you can bend and twist the new knowledge you have to fit your own needs.

Thanks for the links, really (REALLY)! I’ve been looking for something like this for awhile now. When I get things fixed up, I’ll come back and give you a link to my page.
