CSE HTML Validator

When it comes to cleaning your code on your Web sites, you are not doing the most creative or fun job on the planet. This is a boring and tedious task, but it must be done. You want to make sure you are delivering that Web site of yours out to the public as quickly as possible. Now there are many ways of getting this done - but one of the easiest ways is to use CSE HTML Validator.

I recently had a chance to play with the professional version of the program, and I have to say I was impressed. Not only can you clean up your code or validate yourself, you can also edit your HTML from the program’s interface. So that just gives you one more great reason to try it out.

Here is a little more about the program from its developers:

CSE HTML Validator for Microsoft Windows is a powerful, easy to use, user configurable, and all-in-one HTML, XHTML, CSS, link, spelling, and accessibility checker. CSE HTML Validator helps eliminate website problems that cause visitors to leave your website. It increases your productivity and saves you time and money. Unlike many other HTML checkers, CSE HTML Validator features an unusually powerful custom syntax checking engine that is specifically designed to check HTML, XHTML, and CSS.

If you want to play with it first to see if you are going to like it or not, there is a free “lite” version of the program available as well. I have a feeling though that after you give it a shot, you will be more than happy to lay down a few dollars to get the full version.

Over all, if you are looking for another great Web developer tool to add to your tool belt, CSE HTML Validator is the way to go. Need more information? It has a great FAQ for all of you to check out as well. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.

Used it for years and its indispensable - but don’t forget the Firefox add-on, makes it as easy as viewing source to validate markup
