Fast Video Download

It seems as if everybody has their own way of doing things. When it comes to downloading flash videos via your favorite video sharing Web sites, it is no different. There are several different extensions that all do their jobs well. The newest one to be added to the list is the Fast Video Download extension.

In august I tried to create my first own extension (Google Video Downloader) to test another way to grab desired URL. As i see, some people find it quite useful. Finally I managed to develop the improved downloader supporting two more servers. Today, FVD is useful and powerful ever-updating video grabber that steadily rises up in popularity.

It is always nice to see how these extensions came to be. For the most part it sounds like this time around they were just trying to create something that was better, faster, and stronger than the rest.

Fast Video Download will download videos from the following services: Angry Alien, Anime Episodes, Anime Forever, Bad Jojo, Blip.TV, Bo-Funk, Bolt, Break.com, Bubblare.dk, CollegeHumor.comCurrent.TV, Daily Motion, Danerd.com, eVideo Share, Google Video, Grinvi, iFilm, Libero.IT Video, HI5 (VideoEgg), My Space, MetaCafe, News.NTV.ru, PornoTube, Put File, Streetfire, Totally Crap, You Tube, V-Social and Vidiac.

This Firefox extension is for versions 1.0 and up of the browser. To try it out for yourself and install it, all you need to do is head over to the Mozilla Add-ons Web site.

Mitch:

It’s becoming disappointing that the once lucid Lockergnome material has become 2-3 (sometimes more) times a week repetitious, with no real purpose or lead article message apparent.

Maybe this will adjust itself with time…

Hope so…
