Microsummary Buddy

When it comes to bookmarking Web pages in Firefox, the process could be a lot easier. Sure, it isn’t too hard right now but I want it to be brain dead simple. One extension that I have found that does just that is Microsummary Buddy.
To use microsummaries, you have to know what they are. Microsummaries are regularly-updated short summaries of Web pages. They are small enough to fit in the space available to a bookmark label, they provide more useful information about pages than static page titles, and they get regularly updated as new information becomes available.
Here is what the author of the extension had to say about it.
To improve the discoverability of microsummaries, this extension displays an icon in the location bar when a microsummary is available for a page. When you click the icon, Firefox opens the Add Bookmark dialog and selects the microsummary as the “live title” for the bookmark. Then just select the folder you want the bookmark to be created in (f.e. the Bookmarks Toolbar) and press the Add button to add a bookmark labeled with the microsummary for the page.
If you need anymore information about this extension or a better definition about what it does, you can check out the official Web site for Microsummary Buddy. There you will find more information and screen shots of it in action.
This Firefox extension is for versions 2.0 and up of the browser. To download it and test it out for yourself, you can go pick it up at the Mozilla Add-ons Web site.
