One of my favorite features inside of Firefox is the find toolbar. Just by hitting Ctrl and F at the same time unlocks an ability to find anything one a Web page no matter where it might try to hide. Sure, other browsers have done the find bar before, but none are as good in my opinion.
Now what can you do to make Firefox’s find toolbar even better? Just add a few Find Toolbar Tweaks. The Find Toolbar Tweaks extension delivers a lot for such a small package.
You can move the close button position on the find toolbar. You have 4 options; right-side end, left-side end, middle, and hide button. Pick your spot and close from there. Closing the find bar is a little easier when all you need to do is double-click it. This extension gives you that ability as well.
Some of the other features include: Hide “match case” check box; When wrapped, change the color of input box; Add a context menu for settings and close toolbar; Hide button labels; Add a Clear button to clear input box; and Show buttons on Quick Find Bar.
This Firefox extension is for versions 2 and up of the browser. You an pick it up and download it for yourself via the Mozilla Add-ons Web site.
