Flickr is a great resource for photography fans and regular folks alike Online. If you find yourself search for photos there though, and get a little lost or even confused - it is understandable. I feel your pain, and that is the reason I went out and found the Flickr Sidebar.
Here is what the author of the extension has to say about it.
This Flickr sidebar is used for viewing and searching photo lists. You can access it by the command key Ctrl+Shift+F, the toolbar button, or clicking on the menu option View|Sidebars|Flickr Sidebar.
Once you have authorized the extension to work with your flickr account, you can search through or view a full list of your photos, your favorites, everyones photos, your individual contacts, or your groups. Double clicking a photo opens it’s page in the current tab. You can also use all the standard link modifiers to open in tabs and windows.
It is no secret that Flickr is a great tool for any photo loving fool. I have had a paid account for two years now, and I have loved every minute of it. Anything that can make my experience with Flickr a little better, or that can add new features I didn’t have before is a good thing.
This Firefox extension is for versions 2.0 and up of the browser. To download it and check it out for yourself, please visit Mozilla’s Add-ons Web site.

I am using the Kodak-branded version of Fotofox (1.0.9.2), which I understand is exactly the same as the original Fotofox (also now 1.0.9.2), but which allows access to Kodak’s EasyShare Gallery (unfortunately the plain Fotofox doesn’t).
My question is: Is there a way to disable the automatic loading of the sidebar each and every time a new Firefox window is opened? I looked in Options for the extension, but nothing there addresses it. I’m guessing there’s perhaps a way to disable this either in the registry or in an .ini or .cfg file but I haven’t tried to figure that out. I find the automatic loading of the sidebar quite annoying. Thanks.
