Free ASP.NET 2.0 Blogging Engine - Single User Blog ( SUB )

Oh this is bound to raise a few eye brows I suspect. Free ASP.NET blogging engines – creepy goodness or simply something to be avoided? You decide!

I ran across SingleUserBlog the other day while re-investigating the status of the various free ASP.NET blogging engines. SingleUserBlog is over on CodePlex ( here ) and described as follows:
“ SingleUserBlog ( SUB ) is a blogging web application built from the ground up using .NET 2.0 and which showcases things such as the ASP.NET Portal Framework to build a pluggable web part framework for extending features.
The overall architecture of this software is designed around simplicity: having just 1 user removes a whole bunch of complex archicture that is generally needed to maintain and manage multiple users and groups. “
If you are only interested in maintaining a single blog, the simplicity of it may be very appealing. DasBlog is also a single user blog application, too, so you may be interested in it as well…. Source: davidhayden.com
