Yes I have yet another social news and information service for you. Before you roll your eyes and head on though, give me a few more seconds of your time. This new service from folkd.com is finally one that doesn’t seem like a direct ripoff of Digg.com.
Sure it might barrow a few Digg-like features, but what is this Firefox extension all about?
folkd.com strategy. With it, you are given a panel for keeping up to date with what you have “folk’d” on the Web site. I think over time, given the chance, this service could be as good as any of the other social systems out there today.
This Firefox extension is for versions 1.5 and up of the browser. To pick up your copy all you need to do is download it via the Mozilla Add-ons Web site.
