Don’t you hate it when you make it to the bottom of a really large document and you have no way to get back to the top? I run into this all the time when you read through Web hosting terms of service agreements or acceptable use policies. The Back to Top Firefox extension gives your Firefox browser a kick in the right direction to get back to the start.
Here is what the developer of the Firefox extension has to say.
Back to Top is a very simple extension for Firefox. Basically, it adds two items to the context menu (right click), the “Go” menu, and the toolbar: “Back to top” and “Go to bottom”.
The items do just what you would expect. “Back to top” scrolls the current window to the beginning of the page and “Go to bottom” scrolls to the last line of the page.
Sure, I know I will get E-mails from folks saying, “You can already do this” and then give a half dozen reasons. I am not trying to replace those, I am just give you one more.
This Firefox extension is for versions 1.5 and up of the browser. If you want to download it and try it out for yourself, you can do so at the Mozilla Update Web site.
